Sailing Programme 2011
The Sailing Committee is now starting work on the 2011 Sailing Programme. If anyone has any ideas to improve on the current Sailing Programme please let me know. I believe the 2 race days have been a success. If you disagree I would like to know, if you want more of them let me know. All ideas will be considered.

Can we investigate possible multiple races on Sundays? Perhaps 1 race in the morning - in for lunch (will aid clubhouse bar and catering revenues) - then another 1 or 2 races in the afternoon?

The 3 race Sundays is an idea that we have discussed and will probably try. The Summer Sailing Day on 8 August 2010 is along these lines but the only points race on that day is the morning race, other sailing on that day being fun events. The better that day is supported the more likely something similar will get into the programme again next year. We do, of course, need to find race officials and boat crews for longer racing days.
