Mount's Bay Sailing Club forum

If you were in the Clubhouse last Sunday you might have spotted a small camera on a tripod at the East end of the balcony.  The lady with the camera, (Mikaela) is a Producer with an Austrian film company and they are making a series a series of science programmes for children to be screened in Austria in October.  The series will be called "Seven Wonders" and on Sunday they were filming the flood tide and thought the location was brilliant.  Mikaela had to sit there for over six hours and watch the tide come in!!  However she was entertained by the Club members and the Cadgwith Singers on the balcony.  Unfortunately she was not recording audio!

The film company is called "Kids TV" and their web site is www.kidstv.co.at and there is an English language option on the site.

The company also made a generous donation for the use of the balcony.  The money will go towards purchasing another training boat (hopefully the Q'Ba) to help get more youngsters on the water and sailing.
